Remitly is looking to design the vision and roadmap of the software platform services central to the company’s core products and growth
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with designing distributed systems
- 2 years of experience with system architecture and mobile development
- 2 years of experience with full-stack development, product development, and web development
- 2 years of experience with C, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, React, SQL, and Typescript
- Experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation
Responsibilities
- Develop easy-to-use software platform, leveraging expertise with software languages, deployment systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement software systems that promote efficient practices and enable standardization across platform services
- Test network software systems and automation tools to ensure they meet internal and industry best practices
- Implement, accelerate, and reengineer the delivery of world-class developer tools and practices in collaboration with Product Engineering, Information Technology, and other internal teams
Other
- Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 4 years of software design, development, testing, and implementation experience
- 2 years of experience with mentoring junior engineers
