Workday's acquisition of Flowise aims to simplify the creation of AI solutions by providing customers with an easy-to-use platform to quickly and responsibly build and deploy AI agents for HR and finance, while also empowering partners to build faster and expand their offerings.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with our core stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and React.
  • 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS, along with a solid understanding of data modeling.
  • Experience working on both frontend and backend systems, even in side projects.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including automated testing, observability, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Docker is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Full-Stack Solutions: Design and develop new features for the Flowise application across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure. This involves writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Innovate and Execute: Help us make Flowise the best visual low-code tool for building AI agents. You will implement features across our open-source, cloud, and enterprise versions, contributing to the platform's evolution by staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate and Implement: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across various departments to understand software requirements and implement effective solutions. You'll be a key player in turning complex problems into compelling solutions.
  • Drive Code Quality: Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Solve Problems: Proactively identify and resolve issues within the software to ensure optimal functionality. You'll work through problems with a team-first mentality and be comfortable learning on the fly.

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • A successful track record of operating effectively within fast-paced, cross-functional teams. You are a clear communicator and have a collaborative spirit.
  • You are resourceful and eager to tackle challenging problems. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can contribute to finding solutions through reasoning and research.
  • Spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field (depending on role).
