GM Financial is looking to hire a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to contribute to all areas of development within an Agile Scrum team, focusing on developing product features, migrating products to the public cloud, and improving software development practices.
Requirements
- High Level Programming Languages: C-Sharp (.NET 7+, .NET Core)
- Front End: React, Typescript, NX Workspaces, Vanilla JS, NodeJs, SCSS,HTML
- Mobile: React Native
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL (eg CosmosDB), Oracle
- Cloud Development: Azure Services
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps (YAML, ARM), Terraform
- Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes (open source), Docker
Responsibilities
- Developing product features for any or all of the following: data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services
- Migrating the product to the public cloud within the team as appropriate
- Using automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software packages; continuously improving both the quality and speed of the pipelines
- Contributing to test automation and participating in peer reviews toincrease product quality
- Maintaining a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and abilityto rapidly triage/resolve production issues
- Software development expertise in the high level programming language sed by the product team
- Data and query analysis and optimization to deliver scalable, performant products and services

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
