Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The role is to build software for secure communications and strong authentication, enabling the confidentiality for customers and security for the constellation.
Requirements
- Full stack proficiency (e.g., React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience developing and delivering web applications to internal or external customers

Responsibilities
- build software for secure communications and strong authentication
- drives the development, deployment, and operation of mission-critical security systems (e.g. security paved paths) for the Kuiper constellation and customer terminals
- building security services to address ambiguous security related problems around public key infrastructure, certificate management, and identity management for Project Kuiper
- creation and operation of services to protect customer data and Kuiper devices
- providing security and privacy to customers
- PKI (public key infrastructure)
- Encryption, Cryptography, Key Management, or Secure Device Provisioning
Other
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Candidates must have an interest in at least one of the following: providing security and privacy to customers, PKI (public key infrastructure), Encryption, Cryptography, Key Management, or Secure Device Provisioning.
