AWS is looking to improve productivity through innovative tooling and scale penetration testing by enabling pentesters to focus on hard problems, and is seeking a full stack software engineer to help build and scale security automations.
Requirements
- Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C-Sharp including object-oriented design
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems with UI/UX design principles
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of one or more of the following domains: access-control system and methodology, network security, application- and system-development security, security architecture and models, cryptography, and operations security
- Exposure to building things in Native AWS (CDK, pipelines)
Responsibilities
- Developing scalable security solutions at AWS
- Owning end-to-end solutions as a full stack developer
- Incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning technologies to build an intelligent assistant that transforms security operations
- Designing and building both client-side and server-side applications
- Creating analytical workflows on latest platforms
- Ensuring seamless user experiences while maintaining robust backend functionality
- Participating in system design, troubleshooting, code reviews, testing, deployment, and service maintenance
Other
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven and able to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work across Amazon engineering teams and business teams across the globe
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
