CLEAR is looking to create frictionless experiences by expanding its identity platform beyond ID to unlock the power of networked digital identity, with a focus on computer vision and image signal processing.
Requirements
- 3x+ years of backend software development experience in Python, Java and C++.
- 2+ years of experience and/or formal training in computer vision, image signal processing, machine learning, and document verification.
- Working with cloud-based application development, and being fluent in at least a few of: Cloud service providers like AWS and Google Cloud
- Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like Github, Argo, and Jenkins
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the computer vision components and algorithms that power CLEAR's identity platform, from image capture through face matching and document verification, using C++, Python, and Java.
- Leverage computer vision and machine learning to develop, deliver and enhance document verification and biometric features to our products.
- Research and measure computer vision models, their accuracy and performance for deployment in a production system at scale.
- Work across CLEAR functions to ensure that digital identity requirements are accounted for in all new products and new feature work.
- Partner with product and stakeholders across the business to uncover requirements, drive innovation, and solve complex problems.
- Have a strong sense of ownership, responsible for architectural decision-making and striving for continuous improvement in technology and processes at CLEAR.
