Invoca is looking to build a brand-new Quality Assurance team within their Developer Enablement group to define and drive the future of quality for their entire engineering organization, enabling developers to build and ship innovative features with confidence and speed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on test automation (SDET).
- Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails is highly desired.
- Extensive experience designing and building test automation frameworks and using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
- A deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Hands-on experience with performance and scalability testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Shape Our Quality Strategy: You will provide technical leadership, mentor other engineers, and drive improvements in our testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Architect Our Testing Infrastructure: You will design and develop robust, scalable automated test frameworks and create the strategies for test environments and data needed to support complex, cross-team initiatives.
- Drive Performance and Scalability: You'll lead the charge on performance, load, and stress testing to identify bottlenecks, analyze results, and ensure our systems are built for scale.
- Champion a Culture of Quality: You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating across teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle and using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
