Apple is looking to ensure all of their devices have best-of-class battery life by designing, developing, and owning automated tests for validating battery life.
Requirements
- Experience developing automated test frameworks and proficiency in a scripting language (eg, Python)
- System level knowledge of hardware and software
- Experience in functional, performance or battery life testing of mobile devices
Responsibilities
- designing, developing, and owning automated tests for validating battery life
- post-processing and reporting of test results
- running tests, analyzing test results against expectations, and collaborating with engineering teams to debug observed battery life issues
- developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
- proactively identifying automated solutions to streamline our workflows
Other
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong QA experience in test planning/strategy/methodologies and self-sufficient in debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving
