Philips is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the quality of new ultrasound feature designs and implementations by hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test.
Requirements
- knowledge of object-oriented C-Sharp or similar language
- knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (C-Sharp, JAVA), design and coding
- Technical experience with MySQL, Perl, PowerShell, Python and REST APIs
- Agile software development would be a plus
- proven ability to analyze functional, non-functional, and technical requirements to define testing scope effectively
- knowledge of software development lifecycle
- strong individual technical leadership skills through strategy definition and mentorship
Responsibilities
- Own software feature test strategy tonsure successful development and quality of software components, process deliverables, and test requirements
- Individual software development; knowledge of object-oriented C-Sharp or similar language
- Leadership and mentoring aspects for test monitor time-sensitive test results to ensure timely, accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders
- design, influence, and implement test frameworks in support of new ultrasound feature designs and implementations
Other
- 2+ years of experience in software development experience with a focus on software development for test
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position
- working in-person at least 3 days per week
