The SAS Content Assessment team is looking to help SAS 9 and SAS Viya 3 customers understand what they have and what the next steps to migrating to SAS Viya, our premier cloud offering, would be.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java or Golang.
- Proficient with source control management techniques (Git) including branching, code review, and merging.
- Familiarity with at least one public cloud interface: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins and Gradle.
- Comfortable working with and developing command-line driven software.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Adds value to teams independently with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and automate tests for non-interruptive code that can run in customer production environments.
- Automate test cases for internationalization.
- Develop tests in a pre-existing framework that can support multiple program languages that create coherent and impactful applications.
- Develop and support robust quality engineering solutions at every layer of the software development life cycle.
- Create and maintain the highest quality of SAS Visual Analytics reports and provide key data points to support metrics-based decision making.
- Produce key data that illustrates the quality of applications and develop insight that drives the direction of quality engineering.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
Other
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- Two years of experience writing software applications, testing software, and / or general programming.
- Strong interpersonal skills that meet or exceed the needs of the team.
- Ability to pivot quickly and seamlessly toward areas of need.
- Collaborating – Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals.
