Wingstop is looking to solve the problem of ensuring high-quality software delivery for their full-stack .NET and Angular applications by building scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation
- Strong programming skills in C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, or similar
- Solid understanding of test design principles, including modularity and reusability
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, Swagger/Postman, and backend test validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Must have experience testing modern .NET (Core/6+) and Angular applications in a full-stack context
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, reusable test automation frameworks (e.g., using Selenium, Playwright, xUnit/NUnit, etc.)
- Implement tests using modern best practices like the Page Object Model (POM), data-driven testing, and API mocking
- Collaborate with developers to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Own quality for features from spec to production, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Conduct code reviews of test scripts and help define best practices across the QA team
- Build out and manage test environments and test data strategies
- Identify, log, and triage bugs—ensuring issues are reproducible and resolved efficiently
