Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the quality and integrity of all software and robotics specifications and performance for their innovative automation technology used in mining, automobile, and agricultural industries.
Requirements
- Automation and regression system implementation experience
- Comfortable with large systems, common data structures, algorithms, and collections
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns
- Experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking system
- Experience using IDEs like VisualStudio, SharpDevelop, PrimalCode, and Eclipse
- Experience using GitHub, Bitbucket, Mercurial for checking out and setting up projects, and managing dependencies
- Basic understanding of Agile software development practices, such as Scrum or Kanban
Responsibilities
- Execute automated and manual test cases
- Develop and maintain test automation and test automation framework (preferred experience with C-Sharp)
- Review and document new projects and existing application code
- Verify application's functionality, usability, performance and scalability
- Assist with regression testing, load testing, script testing, user acceptance testing, and testing infrastructure
- Develop and maintain clean, reusable code libraries to help build streamlined and efficient development/testing processes
- Evaluate and analyze automation metrics, provide feedback to developers, system architects, and subject matter experts
Other
- B.S. or M.S in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related degree
- 3+ years recent software development or quality assurance experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- ISTQB or comparable testing/QA Certification
- Work within a highly collaborative software development team that utilizes Agile Development methodologies.
