DAT is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test IV to provide technical leadership and strategic influence on quality across the entire DAT Engineering organization, tackling complex quality challenges and setting the technical vision for testing and quality to contribute to DAT's long-term engineering and business objectives.
Requirements
- Real world expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure and microservice architectures
- Expert understanding of CI/CD processes and how to leverage them for testing
- Exceptional problem solving, with a track record of providing solutions for ambiguous, high‑impact challenges.
Responsibilities
- Own the long‑term vision and strategy for software quality and test engineering at DAT, aligned with company goals.
- Research, prototype, and champion new testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to solve critical business and technical problems.
- Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to make quality, testability, and reliability first‑class concerns in all architectural and system design decisions.
- Lead resolution of complex, systemic quality issues that span services, teams, and technology stacks.
- Mentor and develop engineers and testers, acting as a force multiplier that raises the technical bar across the organization.
