Apple Maps' 3D Vision Team is looking to develop and enhance services, orchestration, and compute for cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning projects, requiring a backend engineer to work on large data sets and tackle real-world problems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of development in Golang
- 5+ years experience working with one or more of (Postgres, FoundationDB, Cassandra)
- 5+ years of development of high performant services
- Intermediate React
- Experience with Kafka, Python, C / C++
- Experience in Algorithmic Development
- Experience in GIS
Responsibilities
- ingesting and processing large scale multi modal sensor data for map making
- extracting semantics from ground imagery
- large scale 3d reconstruction from aerial
- operating a HPC cluster for processing
- orchestration for business logic
- developing new innovative technology
- troubleshooting and optimizing complex systems
