The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team at Amazon is looking to build customization capabilities such as fine tuning, distillation, model evaluation, prompt optimization, etc. for Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions.
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Strong machine learning background
- Knowledge of Computer Science and Machine Learning fundamentals
- Experience with large-scale computing resources and heterogeneous data sources
Responsibilities
- Will work with other team engineers to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Work closely with Applied scientists to process data, scale machine learning models while optimizing
- Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software.
- Leading the development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations to advance the state of LLMs
- Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists and leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions
- Delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment
