Apple Inc. is looking to design and develop security services that run in a highly scalable compute environment to secure critical internal Apple services, maintain existing production services, and improve the security posture of their infrastructure and services.
Requirements
- Design and develop highly scalable security services
- Experience operating security services at enterprise-scale, including proxies and services that interact with Certificate Authorities
- Experience with security PKI infrastructure and digital certificates
- Deployed and configured infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and utilized X.509 & Python
- Experience working with PKI administration; using keys and certificates to secure data at rest and in transit
- Experience building cloud services and distributed systems (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience designing engineering solutions for performance and quality
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Design and develop security services that run in a highly scalable compute environment to secure critical internal Apple services.
- Maintain existing production services including collaborating in troubleshooting and making improvements to help improve service reliability.
- Work cross functionally with engineering teams across Apple to help them use our teams’ services and improve the security posture of their infrastructure and services.
- Participate in architecture discussions to review design decisions for services.
- Stay up to date on security industry trends by staying updated on the latest technologies as they are released or discussed publicly (blogs, etc.), to help our team make informed decisions about new technologies to adopt.

- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
