Apple is seeking a Data Security Engineer to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies to safeguard data stores for both on-premise and multi-cloud environments, ensuring robust security, privacy, and compliance controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Store Technologies
- 2+ year with a strong focus on Data Security
- 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, AWS, or public cloud
- A robust foundation in general security, coupled with hands-on production experience in SQL/NoSQL, PAM, CASB, or CyberArk
- Proficient in developing automation tools and solutions using Java or Python
- Hands-on experience in identity management, encryption, mTLS, log aggregation, and analytics
Responsibilities

- securing a diverse range of critical relational and NoSQL databases
- Develop and implement robust data architectures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in developing automation tools and solutions using Java or Python
- Lead the implementation of security standards, defined and enforced SLOs, and catalyzed process enhancements through incident analysis
- Design, develop, deploy, and manage security infrastructure employing DevSecOps methodologies
