Requirements
- Experience in defining, evaluating, and prototyping HW / FW / SW architecture for x86, ARM system-on-chip, or RISC-V architectures
- Experience in designing or interacting with Camera (ISP), Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Multimedia solutions
- Hands-on experience in developing driver software in C/C++ for Windows, Linux, and/or Android
- Experience in driving SW architecture investigations and decisions from power, performance and KPI point of view
- Track record of innovation, as demonstrated through patents, architectural improvements, novel system design, or personal projects
- Hand-on experience in analyzing and debugging cross-domain issues across multiple subsystems
Responsibilities
- Drive real-world innovations from architectural analysis, through implementation, customer feedback, and next-generation SW/FW/HW designs
- Guide AMD’s next-generation technology system architectures for computer vision, imaging, and applied machine learning
- Take on new and challenging projects in areas new to industry or new to AMD
- Reporting to system architect lead, investigate into various aspects of system architecture and provide architectural decisions, design guidance, and KPI analysis
- Analyze interactions between SW/FW/HW component to design and drive AMD solutions forward in domains such as power, performance, latency, image quality, and leveraging the latest technologies
- Develop and expand driver software in C/C++ realizing key customer features for end-to-end performance, power optimization, features quality, and robustness

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
