Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth.
- 3+ years of experience in SQA methodologies and practices.
- Experienced in developing test strategies and performing it with automation or manual testing.
- Experienced in utilizing tools, including Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers, to help resolve, root cause and provide debugging information to engineering teams.
- Proficient in Python and/or C/C++.
- Previous automation experience.
- Experience working on P2P technologies like NaN.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute software tests to identify and address software problems, ensuring quality and validity of design.
- Define and execute test plans to validate various Wi-Fi features of Apple products, ensuring they meet design and functionality requirements.
- Raise defects and follow up with the development team to identify the root cause using Apple internal tools.
- Investigate field issues, and perform engineering analysis to understand the root cause of the problems.
- Identify gaps in test plans based on field issues seen and address the test gaps.
- Automate test cases in internal Automation Frameworks.
- Build, configure, and maintain test infrastructure to efficiently execute test plans across various software releases.
Other
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Masters degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in related field.
