CACI is looking to improve battlespace awareness and decision-making support across various military and intelligence domains by developing and enhancing software solutions for Combat Air Force (AF) Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprises. This involves increasing mission effectiveness, improving information security, and implementing new technologies for information access, processing, analysis, and dissemination to meet critical multi-domain needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with modern software development, e.g., Java (J2EE), C++, C-Sharp, JavaScript, etc. as part of a development team utilizing strict configuration management practices e.g., git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, GitHub
  • Experience with modern web application development to include JavaScript, Node.js, Angular or React.
  • Debugging and run time skills.
  • Linux experience
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as ElasticSearch/ELK, kafka
  • Experience with industry standard build, packaging and deployment tools such as: Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Yum, NPM and RPM
  • Experience with a major cloud provider, e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with containerization for development and cloud deployment, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack

Responsibilities

  • Operate in all phases of the application lifecycle.
  • Use of industry proven design patterns and open-source tools is encouraged, along with a dedication to staying educated on current technology trends.
  • Provide design and development expertise in support of both new application development tasks and maintenance.
  • Be part of an agile team where communication skills and the ability to execute within the established development process are paramount to yours and the team's success.
  • Support the entire product lifecycle to include systems engineering and requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment.

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate student studying Computer Science, Software Development/Engineering or related area.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • This is a hybrid position with core hours of 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (CST) and the expectation that you will be onsite 2-3 days a week so you must live within the local commuting distance (60 miles).
