The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Development Engineering Manager to support the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) division within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. This position will manage a team responsible for software development activities of the on-aircraft software and ground software used on or with the B-52H Bomber, including production software, research and development, and internal applications development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- 1+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering activities
- Experience with software architecture and software implementation
- Experience working in embedded software engineering aerospace environments
Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Engineering
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
