Vervint is looking to bring on Software Development Interns for the summer of 2026 to work with consultants developing solutions for clients while gaining valuable real-world experience.
Requirements
- Experience / exposure with some of the following: .NET, C-Sharp, SQL, Web Front-end (Angular, React, Vue), Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Azure, AWS, Mobile Development Technologies (iOS, Android)
- Object-Oriented Design and Agile methodologies
- Strong proven analytical abilities in relation to system design
Responsibilities
- Help deliver highly scalable multi-tiered distributed software applications
- Work effectively within frameworks/architectures based on internal and external standards
- Focus on quality and security including automation, design reviews, and unit testing
- Perform analysis and fine-tuning of page performance and reliability
- Work on multiple initiatives and recommend improvements
- Develop and support projects throughout all phases of the development life cycle
- Analyze technical issues and clearly communicate recommendations/solutions
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Full-time hours during the summer, possibly working part-time throughout the school year
- Hybrid | 3 Days a Week On-Site in Grand Rapids, MI
