Universal Orlando Resort needs to improve its compliance software and develop standardized templates for field assessments and audits to document ADA compliance findings and enhance leadership visibility for formulating solutions.
Requirements
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- Preferred majors include: Software Development, Software Engineer, Hospitality Management, or similar.
Responsibilities
- assist in developing standardized templates for conducting field assessments and audits across the resort
- design a prototype tool and perform field testing to ensure it is user friendly
- Evaluates accessibility features and accommodations and provides information on user experience and functionality.
- Conducts research and synthesizes regulatory information.
- Collaborates with business professionals to learn and utilize compliance software tools.
- Assists in designing and developing standardized templates for field assessments.
- Creates a prototype assessment tool and perform field testing to ensure usability and effectiveness.

- This intern will collaborate with both the Resort Accessibility teams and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) partners
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
