Siemens Industry Software is seeking a Software Development Intern to work on the development of an award-winning CFD thermal simulation solution, to solve real-world problems and turn theory into practice.
Requirements
- Pursing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Exposure to software development with experience designing, coding, and debugging
- Software development process in an Agile Scrum development environment
- Software development using Visual Studio and C
- Experience with using Git, Jira, and Bitbucket
- Operating systems: Windows
- Knowledge of Solidworks or other 3D Mechanical software
Responsibilities
- Conduct QA testing on new software
- Develop unit test(s)
- Develop new software in C using WPF and interface design features related to the next generation product solution
Other
- Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
- Available to work 40 hours per week and be online no later than 8:30 AM
- One class may be taken in the afternoon or evening during each semester as long as work performance does not suffer
