Requirements
- Successful completion of at least one course in an object-oriented programming language (Java preferred).
- Successful completion of at least 12 credit hours in computer technology or math-related coursework.
- Previous project or internship experience in web, mobile, middleware, or data engineering.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD, or Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in developing and managing the cspire.com website and sub-properties.
- Assist with initiatives to transform the website into the primary channel for sales, support, and self-service.
- Work alongside developers maintaining iOS and Android applications.
- Support projects that help thousands of customers manage accounts and access healthcare through mobile apps.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of Java and Scala microservices.
- Assist with systems processing billions of API calls per year.
- Support the design and maintenance of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
Other
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student in good standing.
- Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Housing in the Jackson, MS metro area.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
