Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) is looking to build the next generation of web services and applications, leading Internet of Things (IoT) efforts within Toshiba, and developing products and services in the cloud using Microsoft Azure.
Requirements
- SQL experience is valuable.
- Proven experience with Agile SDLC methodologies and implementation of process best practices to deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- design, implement and deliver web services and applications using C-Sharp, ASP.net and MVC.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members on technical contributions through code and design reviews.
- Manage planning, design, implementation and maintenance of assigned engineering projects.
- Break down projects and requirements into organized tasks to be assigned to and completed by developers.
- Monitor and report on the development and implementation of projects, reviewing and evaluating interim results for quality and technical completeness.
- Minimize rework by focusing on the clarity of requirements, quality in software implementation, and component testing.
- Promote technical innovation by staying abreast of software technology trends and sharing information with other GTSE and TTEC members.
Other
- Manage a team of software engineers.
- Mentor team members to help them develop their skills and experience.
- Hold regular 1:1s with all members, giving regular and clear performance feedback.
- Lead or conduct interviews during the hiring process for new candidates as needed.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure plans and schedules continue to fit within the overall product development context.
