Banyan Software, through its acquisition of CFS Solutions, aims to grow enterprise software businesses in niche vertical markets. CFS Solutions, an imaging software company, is seeking a Software Development Manager to architect and develop high-performance backend systems to support their suite of imaging and transaction-related products.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C++ (11/14/17 preferred).
- Solid experience with Linux-based development environments and shell scripting.
- Hands-on knowledge of CGI programming using C++ or Perl.
- Strong command of SQL, including complex joins, indexing, and performance tuning.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven track record of shipping scalable, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web application frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance server-side applications using C++ on Linux.
- Develop and maintain CGI scripts for web-based integrations.
- Implement efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for application data management.
- Manage a team of software engineers, fostering best practices in coding, design, and system architecture.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to secure and scalable coding standards.
- Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to define product requirements and deliver robust features.
- Act as a key technical liaison across departments to align development efforts with business goals. Prioritize, manage and groom the backlog based on product management and leadership guidance.
