The partner company of Jobgether is looking to develop a new product initiative to help mid-market customers drive growth and improve lead conversion, and they need a Software Development Manager to lead this effort in the US.
Requirements
- Strong technical background with experience in Python, React, and relational and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of large-scale system design and big data architectures
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
- Nice to have experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps practices, or data and machine learning technologies
- Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects
- 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering high performance and professional growth
- Oversee software design, development, and implementation across multiple concurrent projects
- Prioritize development work, remove blockers, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and technical solutions
- Establish and maintain project timelines, ensuring delivery within agreed constraints
- Enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks across the team
- Identify risks, perform root cause analysis on technical issues, and implement preventive solutions
