ZT Systems is looking to deliver innovative software and process improvements to their worldwide production facilities, and needs a Software Technical Program Manager to lead strategic programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Software development experience is strongly desired
- Hands-on experience with Jira is strongly desired
- Good Project Management skills in developing schedules and tracking milestones
- PMP certification preferred but not required
- Experience in a software development, engineering or production environment
Responsibilities
- Manage and track programs across the organization including software development, software deliverables, process improvements, etc.
- Attend weekly program core team meetings with cross-functional teams to communicate updates, track progress, and ensure that the program is on track to meet upcoming milestones
- Identify and communicate program risks to stakeholders, define risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate appropriate hardware & software engineering solutions
- Maintain documentation and disseminate project information to stakeholders
- Communicate risks and relevant mitigation plans
- Attend regular production status meetings to provide the status of programs and record assigned actions
Other
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, and 2+ years of experience
- Strong cross-functional team management, strong interpersonal skills, and adaptive communication style
- Effective communication to drive the program and provide clear updates
- U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident, Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158 may be required for certain positions
- Eligibility to obtain an export control license or license exception from the Bureau of Industry and Science & U.S. Department of Commerce may be required
