Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Software Development Project Manager to support the Sales Initiatives & Analytics team in Renton, Washington. The Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of a strategic application that will support data-driven decision making for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
- 3+ years of experience utilizing project management tools and methods
- Experience working in a fast-paced scaled Agile software development environment
- Experience managing projects involving enterprise data architecture, database technologies, or back-end development
- Experience delivering applications for business intelligence, analytics, or decision support
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certification
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of application development and data integration initiatives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, and schedules
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Facilitate requirements gathering, user story development, and solution design sessions
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and implement mitigation strategies
- Track and report on project progress, milestones, and deliverables to senior leadership

- 3+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
- 1+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to foster collaboration and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
