The Ohio Industrial Commission (OIC), Office of Information Technology, is seeking a knowledgeable software developer to solve issues related to software development and testing.
Requirements
- experience in Java EE
- experience in the software development life-cycle
- developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications
- performing testing and debugging
- assisting with analysis and design
- 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting

Responsibilities
- Writes test cases &/or scripts for unit & systems testing with minimal to no supervision
- creates or sets-up test data for performing test scenarios
- executes unit test scripts and assists in executing system test scripts independently
- verifies & documents unit & system test results to ensure software is producing desired results
- debugs & revises programs when unit & system tests do not produce desired results
- creates &/or modifies existing program modules
- uses report generators, data manipulation tools, data query tools, program tracing/debugging tools, software development tools and versioning tools as required
