HDI Global Insurance is searching for a Software Development Specialist who will play an important role in achieving profitability in automating various business tasks.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of C-Sharp language fundamentals
- Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming: *.NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ, SSIS, Dependency Injection
- Relational database experience, preferably MS SQL Server
- T-SQL, Database design and optimization techniques
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure
- Prior work experience with Azure, AWS and MongoDB is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Writing and maintaining software code using best practices.
- Supporting some legacy code and fixing bugs.
- Writing and supporting older SQL reports.
- Integrating internal and external systems using Web APIs.
- The developer will be required to code both individually and as a part of a team to achieve the MVP of their assigned projects.
Other
- Communicating effectively with Business Analysts and other Software Engineers using the Agile methodology.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
