Medtronic is seeking to test the next generation of its product suite, which spans medical devices, mobile apps, and back-end servers, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript , Python, Java, C, C++ or Go.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Deep understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) Experience developing automated test tools for commercial software products.
  • Basic understanding of API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, and implement software test frameworks and test scripts across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
  • Work closely with software development, product engineering, product marketing, quality, and systems teams to ensure the product works properly from end-to-end, both pre and post-release.
  • Utilize test automation frameworks, including Appium and Selenium, for continuous build and test with various system tools.
  • Determine the required level of testing based on software requirements.
  • Develop test plans and protocols in accordance with regulatory environments.
  • Partner with software development as part of sprint development within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation capabilities.
