Progressive is looking for a lead software development test engineer to design and develop automation frameworks and execute automated tests to ensure the highest level of quality and performance in their software products, primarily automating SaaS applications centered on financial systems, while also handling some custom applications.
Requirements
- designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications
- planning, analyzing and executing testing of multiple applications with significant size, scope and complexity (e.g., Sales, Servicing, Billing Applications)
- C-Sharp (e.g., NUnit, MSTest, xUnit)
- Python (e.g., PyTest, etc.)
- JavaScript (e.g., Jasmine, Mocha, Jest)
- API Testing: Postman (manual and automated API testing), REST, SOAP, GraphQL
- Automation Testing: Selenium, CI/CD integration
Responsibilities
- designing and developing automation frameworks
- executing automated tests to ensure the highest level of quality and performance in our software products
- primarily automate SaaS applications (i.e. Workday) which are centered on our financial systems, while also handling some custom applications
- collaborate closely with our talented development, quality assurance and business teams to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous innovation
- investigate new industry trends and work with other IT areas to identify opportunities for improvement, reduce costs, and adopt new tools and technologies
