Boston Scientific is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software for medical devices, as well as manage software validation and verification processes.
Requirements
- Knowledge in systems integration and equipment development
- Knowledge on the following technologies/areas: Ethernet Networks
- Equipment integration and controls (PLC, Sensors, Drives, HMI, etc.)
- Vision systems
- Conceptual Knowledge on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Data Visualization
- Database systems
Responsibilities
- oversees the design, development, troubleshooting and debugging of software for medical devices.
- has responsibility for directing the activities of the software validation and verification.
- Develops quality standards for company products
- oversees development and execution of software test plans and analysis of test reports.
- Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
- Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
- Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.
