Boston Scientific is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software for medical devices, as well as manage software validation and verification processes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in systems integration and equipment development
  • Knowledge on the following technologies/areas: Ethernet Networks
  • Equipment integration and controls (PLC, Sensors, Drives, HMI, etc.)
  • Vision systems
  • Conceptual Knowledge on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Visualization
  • Database systems

Responsibilities

  • oversees the design, development, troubleshooting and debugging of software for medical devices.
  • has responsibility for directing the activities of the software validation and verification.
  • Develops quality standards for company products
  • oversees development and execution of software test plans and analysis of test reports.
  • Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
  • Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
  • Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.
