The Global Business Solutions Group at Intuit is looking to drive prosperity for small businesses through the revamped QuickBooks Accountant Mission, and this role aims to solve challenging problems in software development, particularly with AI's potential.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of web software or mobile applications - professional or open-source experience writing JavaScript
- 1+ years of professional or open-source experience with a JavaScript MVC toolkit in a Single Page Architecture. Most notably React framework but also including AngularJS, Dojo, Backbone.js, Knockout or Ember.js.
- 1+ years of experience with CSS framework such as LESS, Sass.
- Familiarity with standard javascript async patterns (closures, callbacks, promises, error handling)
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE
- 1+ years experience with consuming and creating web services (REST or SOAP)
Responsibilities
- Successful delivery of high quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
- Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
- Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
- Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
- Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
Other
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Self-starter attitude and ability to make decisions independently
