Cisco IT is seeking a Software Development Engineer to develop, integrate, test, and deploy highly scalable and robust software solutions that will shape the future of Cisco’s IT landscape.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and PL/SQL
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with MongoDB, Oracle, or similar database technologies
- Knowledge of data structures, Kafka, and the ELK stack
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for private and public cloud platforms, integrating automation and monitoring tools
- Collaborate with software development teams in an Agile DevOps environment
- Contribute to a highly agile development culture, focused on continuous improvement and innovation
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
