Requirements
- OOP skills, the ability to analyze requirements and prepare design (3 years);
- REST APIs, Web Services, Unit Testing, Java/Go Build tools (3 years);

Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, prepare design, and develop robust, scalable software applications and features using object-oriented programming and experience with back-end technologies like Spring Boot/gRPC, agile methodologies, and Big Data platforms.
- Extend the Fraud Load offset functionality to Venmo under the PayPal Compliance Global investigation domain.
- Build 2-way communication functionality under the PayPal Compliance Global investigation domain.
- Develop dashboards to track the Universal referral status across domains under the PayPal Compliance Suspicions activity domain.
- Onboard new regulators under the PayPal Compliance Suspicions activity domain.
- Utilize Oracle, SQL, JDBC/ORM, Message Queue, App servers/Servlet containers, and Maven/Git/Continuous integration to design scalable software solutions and implement the functionality using Java technology into the PayPal ecosystem.
- Perform end-to-end testing of projects including performance and load tests to ensure quality checks in adherence with PayPal guidelines, utilizing experience with REST APIs, Web Services, Unit Testing, Java/Go Build tools, Spring, or any web MVC frameworks.
Other
- Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
