Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing systems/software for large businesses using Java/J2EE, Python, or Go
- Experience with databases, cloud, APIs, and other technologies to ensure that the application is scalable, secure, and performant
- Experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web applications
- Possess basic understanding of AI concepts and foundations
- Familiarity with data and metrics required for building and evaluating AI models
- Conversant with AI Native principles and able to apply them to software development
Responsibilities
- You’ll write and maintain scalable, efficient code
- You’ll work with teammates and cross functional partners to plan, refine and build features from concept through implementation
- You'll spearhead efforts to establish patterns and processes, and lead the team through examples in your own work
- You'll develop and enhance new and existing features as well as investigate and resolve defects
- You'll remain up-to-date on evolving tools and patterns for managing infrastructure and guiding our implementation of them when necessary
- You'll help scope, estimate, and prioritize work
- You'll integrate AI into existing systems as needed, with guidance
Other
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about software and AI based solutions
