Captivation is looking for a mid level DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments in support of the mission to protect the country.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
- Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containers
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments
- Managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
- Implementing IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Working with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
- Containerization technologies such as Docker and Containers
Other
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE
