Captivation is looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support the mission of protecting the country by increasing automation and efficiency in software builds and deployments.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
- Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Automating provisioning of HPC systems using Bash/Python scripts
- Managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
- Applying CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Implementing and maintaining IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
Other
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
