SageCor Solutions is looking to solve the problem of bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies in Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area
Requirements
- Java (Spring Boot)
- RESTful APIs and microservices
- Containerization using containerd/docker
- AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications
- Containerize applications within RKE2/AWS as containerd/docker applications and manage deployments in cloud environments
- Integrate and optimize services on AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) also stateless workloads
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment workflows
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Other
- Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph Required
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
