Warner Bros. Discovery is looking to build scalable, maintainable, and efficient web applications for their streaming platform, Max, to ensure a seamless user experience and deliver content effectively.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Angular (preferred) or React for building modern web applications.
- Experience with backend development using Java, GoLang, or similar languages.
- Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQL/SQL systems.
- Solid understanding of CSS and frontend styling best practices.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for writing maintainable and scalable code.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend applications using Angular (preferred) React (Nice to have).
- Build and integrate backend services using Java, GoLang, or similar languages.
- Review UX designs and provide input on usability, feasibility, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure technical alignment with user experience goals.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQL/relational databases to support application functionality.
- Ensure frontend code quality with strong CSS skills and adherence to responsive design principles.
- Write and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as Jest to ensure code reliability and coverage.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
