Captivation Software is looking for a mid level UI/UX developer who shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications.

Requirements

• Basic understanding using the Linux CLI
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
• Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
• Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts
• Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy
• Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design.

Other

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX design artifacts
