Captivation Software is looking for a mid level UI/UX developer to enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications, making key decisions in visual layout, styling, color, typography, and iconography.
Requirements
- Basic understanding using the Linux CLI
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
- Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts
- Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy
- Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS
Responsibilities
- Crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications.
- Responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design.
Other
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX design artifacts
