Requirements
- Proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment
- Understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective
- Knowledge of operating system internals and Linux kernel
- Understanding of network protocols
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Design practices & technology integration, management, etc.
- Strong experience with Python development in a Linux environment
- Experience with database design and SQL, Shell and Bash scripting skills
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Design (CI/CD) tools, including Kubernetes
- Benchmarking and tuning critical software services to achieve optimum performance internally and at all the venues we connect to around the globe
- Building systems to monitor real-time production trading systems
- Collaborating with trading and research teams to deploy and support mission critical systems
Other
- 5+ years experience supporting large-scale, distributed systems, preferably in a cloud computing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A passion for technology and innovation
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident team player motivated by a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or its equivalent
