RatedPower is looking to hire a Backend Developer to join their team and help drive the energy transition by building intelligent connections across the energy value chain, with a strategic focus on expanding their offerings in Power & Renewables.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java (+3y) and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience working in agile teams with clear separation between frontend and backend responsibilities.
- Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or backend services.
- Knowledge of tools like Docker and Kubernetes, Helm, or observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and services using the Spring Boot framework.
- Manage and maintain relational (MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, with guidance from senior engineers.
- Integrate and work with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and cybersecurity teams to address technical and business challenges.
