Wyetech is looking to solve real-world problems for their federal government customers by breaking technological barriers.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Java programming with experience in developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications.
  • Experience writing and optimizing Regular Expressions (Regex) for data validation, text parsing, and pattern matching.
  • Experience with entity extraction and data normalization to standardize unstructured or semi-structured information.
  • Strong knowledge of Agency corporate processing systems and corporate normalization tools.
  • Experience with GHOSTMACHINE and associated schema structures.
  • Familiarity with language processing techniques for text analysis and information extraction.

Responsibilities

  • Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

Other

  • Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
