Captivation is looking to design, develop, test, and sustain an end-to-end Big Data processing platform that provides aggregated analytic results to downstream systems and enables end-users to query, visualize, and analyze event data from multiple sources in support of national security missions.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience with Bash/Python scripting
- Experience developing Java applications in a Linux environment
- Experience developing with the Spring framework including Spring Boot
- Experience with processing Big Data
- Experience with system design and architecture
- Experience with Web development, HTTP, and REST services
Responsibilities
- Design, development, test, and sustainment of an end-to-end Big Data processing platform
- Provide aggregated analytic results to downstream systems
- Enable end-users to query, visualize, and analyze event data from multiple data sources
- Develop Java applications in a Linux environment
- Develop with the Spring framework including Spring Boot
- Process Big Data
- Experience with system design and architecture
Other
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus Five (5) years of experience as a SWE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE
- Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
