Northrop Grumman's Payload and Ground Systems division is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support a Ground program within the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that provide a decisive advantage to the warfighter.
Requirements
- Experience developing in Java
- Experience with software design and architecture
- Experience with software unit testing
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Microservice architecture and Object Orientated Design
- Experience with Keyclock
- Experience with NodeJS Framework
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensures software standards are met.

- Must have current Top Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application.
- This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
